Credit Reports and Issues with Them

This is my third podcast. It deals with how to look at your credit report.

The best place to get them is from annualcreditreport.com. The other “free” credit report sites don’t seem to be free. The other sites seem to trim off important information like inquires. The inquiries are important.

If you would like to get your credit report the old fashioned way, here are the addresses to the credit reporting agencies:

  • Experian (formally known as TRW)- 701 Experian Parkway, Allen, TX 5013;(1-888-Experian or 888-397-3742) (800-682-7654) Fax #(972) 390-1680
www.experian.com for more information or to order online
  • Equifax Information Services Center , P.O.Box 740241, Atlanta, Georgia 30374-0241. (800-685-111)
www.equifax.com for more information or to order online.
  • Transunion Consumer Relations , P.O. Box 1000, Chester , PA 19022; If you already have a copy of your report and have questions , you may call, 1-800-916-8800 www.transunion.com for more information or to order on-line.

If you have any questions please post them or call me. My phone number is 206-984-4147. Call anytime.

  1. Freecreditreport .com is awesome they are quick, reliable and secure. I have used them since they came out with those clever singing guys from Canada a couple years ago. I also recommend them to all my friends and family and they couldn’t be happier.

    Thanks.
