CreditRage -35- Who Pays the Cost of a Lawsuit?

All,

I feel like I am going back to my roots and releasing a new podcast!Settlement Trans Union

This podcast has some road noise, so if that bothers you, please watch one of my videos.

This podcast is about who pays a lawsuit when you win or lose. This is a common scare tactic of lawyers when you sue them. Expect that there is a good chance that at some point they will threaten you with the lawyer’s bills and sanctions.

Listen to this podcast for my thoughts on the subject.

  1. Surely you realize by now that FDCPA defense lawyers define as “frivolous” any complaint or pleading which makes their clients look bad. House Republicans, ever keen to fix a problem which doesn’t exist, have just extended the definition to cover their “job creating” campaign donors.

    • Great information, as usual, Resident.

I was attempting to make people realize that they shouldn’t get to far out on the edge when they file their first consumer related lawsuit. If a person is involved in their first lawsuit, they most likely want to file a lawsuit like many others have filed and won.

I believe you dont want to be a pioneer with your first suit. If you want to be a pioneer, wait until you have several suits under your belt.

FDCPA defense lawyers will claim everything is frivolous. That is usually their first line of defense even before they have read the complaint.

Thanks for your dead on comments!
