How long will your FDCPA case take to settle?

No one can say for sure how long your FDCPA case will take will take to settle. It could take just a couple of days or it could go on for a year or more.

I generally don’t advocate hiring a lawyer to represent you. Most of the time you can file the lawsuit and represent yourself. This takes some work, but you will be more educated and better able to defend yourself in the future.

I have included the following video of a guy taking about how long it takes for a FDCPA lawsuit to settle. If you are a Pro Se litigant, some of these will nor seemingly apply to you. Another way to look at it is that you are the same as an super inexperienced free lawyer.
